Event 1 Maiden Races - Entry Fee £35 Prize Money - 1st £350 2nd £60 3rd £40 For horses with no lifetime wins. All horses ballot for position. Horses will be split for owners and trainers. If the event is over/under subscribed there will be a ballot to remove horses and place them off the gate with a 10-yard start from the lowest rated horses entered in event 2. Event 2 Ratings Races - Entry Fee £40 Prize Money - 1st £400 2nd £60 3rd £40 For horses with minimum 1 lifetime win. Handicap trails where 10 points equal 10 yards. Horses on the same marks ballot for position. There will be no splits for owners/trainers/drivers. Event 3 STAGBI Future Broodmares Heat - Entry Fee £50 Mares aged at least 4 years old, owner must be a current STAGBI member. Race run preferred, horses on same mark ballot for position. Event 4 Le Trot Event 5 Qualifiers, Workouts & Driving Tests - Entry Fee £20 Payment to be made on the day of racing. Any horse entered will be liable to pay the entry fee unless withdrawn by 10am Monday 27th April via the BHRC Office.

Unfortunately, due to external factors, the Eden Valley committee have made the unfortunate decision to cancel the meeting at Wolsingham on the 9th June.

The BHRC office is closed from 1pm today, Thursday 23rd May, and will re-open as normal at 9am Friday.

A reminder that horses need to be registered in training with licensed trainer for 28 days before they are allowed to run. Horses annual registration fees must also be paid and up to date flu vaccinations sent in before the horse can be cleared to race. It is a very busy time of year – please try to plan in advance.

In order to protect yourselves and the sport it is vital that any person in the horse box area is insured under the BHRC policy. A junior member/assistants licence is available for £20. Children under the age of 12 must be supervised by a licenced adult at all times whilst in the horsebox area.
