Appleby Spring Races Schedule

YORK HARNESS RACEWAY Polite reminder the last payments for this years stake races are now due. Payment can be accepted this week until Friday and the final lists will be published next week. It has been decided by track management that workouts before during and after racing as well as on non racedays will now be £15.

Nominations are open until 1st May on the entries system for Stallion Nominations

Payments due by 1st May for the BHRC Classic races are now open on the Online Entries

York Opening Meeting 2nd May 2026

Qualifiers will go ahead at York on Saturday 25.4.26, the track will open at 10.00 and first qualifier will commence at 1.00 pm. Any owner / trainer not entered into the qualifier / workout races, wishing to bring a horse, just to work out on the track must still register the horse with BHRC, with a copy of the flu vac, the owner, trainer, driver must have paid their licence fee and the horse must have been registered in training for 28 days otherwise they will not be permitted onto the track.
