A fantastic new series from the Welsh Independant Grass Tracks. They have introduced an owners bonus series designed to reward horse owners for supporting the five independently run grass meetings in Wales. The owner of the horse with the most points will receive £1000 with second and third placed horses also receiving a bonus. There is no entry fee and all horses who race at these participating tracks will automatically be included in the series. All prizes won through the series will be penalty free!

This year sees the exciting return of harness racing to Musselburgh on Saturday, June 14th, a meeting with a long history, fine tradition and cherished by harness racing enthusiasts throughout Great Britain and Ireland. A BHRC led committee is staging this event, which includes the Group 1 Famous Musselburgh Pace. Whilst the committee is being led by the BHRC the money to run this meeting is being raised through external sponsorship and not through licence fees. To make the meeting possible and a success, the sport needs everyone to come together in support and this includes sponsorship.
